Honors Student Association
What is the Honors Student Association (HSA)?
If you are a member of the Honors Program, congrats! You are also a member of the Honors Student Association!
Our Honors Program does not only want to help you academically; we also want to help you form a community at JCCC. HSA is an extracurricular club at JCCC and is the social arm of the honors program. Our goal is to help students get to know one another by offering various opportunities to come together:
- HSA holds general meetings open to all honors students. In those meetings, students get to know one another through activity, brainstorming ways to support honors peers, and planning social events. Check out Get Involved for a schedule of general meetings and to keep up on HSA events.
- Study Nights! Study nights are designed for students to work with their peers to gain mastery over class objectives, assignments, and exams.
- HSA hosts an array of events to provide a break from the tedious work-school cycle and allows students to connect and have a fun with friends!
- HSA allows students to find a community that may also double as a support system they can lean during their time at JCCC.
