Visual Arts Scholarships

Hidden Glenn Arts Animation Scholarship

The Hidden Glenn Arts Animation Scholarship recognizes demonstrated talent (through a portfolio review). To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

  • Submit the JCCC Admissions Application.
  • Submit the JCCC Scholarship Application.
  • Be a second-year student seeking an AAS in Animation from JCCC.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
  • Be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.

James Fennel Fine Arts Scholarship

The James Fennel Fine Arts Scholarship recognizes students who can demonstrate commitment to the study of art, talent, and motivation. To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

  • Submit the JCCC Admissions Application.
  • Submit the JCCC Scholarship Application.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
  • Be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
  • Submit a portfolio of work.
  • Be recommended by a faculty member.

S A Art Scholarship

The S A Art Scholarship recognizes talented student artists. To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

  • Submit the JCCC Admissions Application.
  • Submit the JCCC Scholarship Application.
  • Have completed less than 64 credit hours at JCCC.
  • Be enrolled in a program at JCCC that leads to an Associate’s degree or certificate or transfer program that leads to a bachelor’s degree at another institution.
  • Be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
  • Take at least one Fine Art or Photography class in the semester following receipt of the award.
  • Submit 5 pieces of your own original artwork for evaluation and review.
