WiGo Trips™ is a Kansas City based Travel Technology Start up. We are developing a socially driven travel marketplace and service platform, that is designed to enable travelers to experience the world through others eyes.
We are currently seeking an ambitious programmer, who is a quick learner, and self-motivated to play the role of the WiGo Trips™ Tech Mastermind, and understands how to build and create the technologies and systems that will enhance our consumers and operations experience for web, iOS, and android.
Preferred candidates will have an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for travel and helping people break free from traditional systems and approaches. Must be both analytical and creative, self-motivated learner who is constantly evolving, and possess some knowledge in a variety of disciplines such as marketing, operations, finance, and business management or can learn them quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishes the WiGo Trips™ technology vision
- Leads and participates in all aspects of technological development
- Provide leadership to team that supports the company’s culture, mission and values
- Observe market and predict future technology trends and behaviors and plans accordingly
- Conducts research on leading edge technologies and makes determinations on the probability of implementation
- Build a highly efficient team of technology professionals
- Create a solid network of strategic partnerships
- Works collaborative with cross-functional teams to define, design, and produce platforms, features, and tech related services
- Acts as a good steward of WiGo Trips™ resources and ensures control of IT and IO departmental budgets
- Recommend coding systems and potential plug-ins
