This position focuses on implementing and supporting division desktop equipment, responds to end user desktop incidents and requests reported to the Service Desk and provides hands-on support for moderate to complex technical issues.

Applicants should also have the drive and communication skills to provide an exceptional customer service experience for not only providers, but also with provider office personnel, practice and market leadership, hospital leaders and others.

Internship

Croft Trailer Supply is seeking a web and content management intern. Croft Trailer Supply has been in business for over 80 years, with four service centers in the Kansas City Metro and a distribution center which ships trailer and towing components worldwide. The company sells thousands of trailer parts, new and pre-owned trailers, provides maintenance and repairs on trailers, and installs hitches on vehicles. Interns would have the chance to work on advertising, promotional items, social media campaigns, and brand integrations for several product lines of trailers. In addition to honing HTML, CSS, and JS development, interns would gain experience in product database management, headless content development, and ecommerce-specific web development best practices and techniques.

Compensation: $14 an hour, with the availability to work up to 20 hours per week.

Location: Must be able to work on-sight in the office in KCMO.

Responsibilities

  • Study design briefs and determine requirements
  • Conceptualize content and code architectures based on requirements
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
  • Develop on an existing codebase using industry standard software
  • Work with other designers and developers to produce final products
  • Test graphics, content, and code across various platforms with a focus on clean HTML, CSS (SCSS), JS (including some React applications), and headless API development
  • Assist with projects and product deliverables under guidance from lead developers and engineers

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a web development, interactive design or other applicable program at an accredited college, university, or trade school
  • A portfolio of previous development work

POSITION SUMMARY: 

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented front-end web graphic design intern to create and maintain a relevant aesthetic for our websites. This internship role is responsible for working with other designers and web developers to ensure that the website is functional with current products, information, and imagery. This includes maintaining image libraries and creating inventory uploader files in excel to use across multiple platforms.

To be successful in this role you must have a good understanding of front-end and back-end coding fundamentals primarily in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferred or currently learning JavaScript). A top-notch web graphic designer is both technically minded, and design oriented.

THE WEB GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN’S PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

  • Prepare images to coincide with product uploads, social and blog posts.
  • Working with developers and designers to create a design strategy.
  • Editing and renaming images for websites.
  • Choosing fonts and color schemes for websites.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Excellent computer knowledge for both MAC and PC environments. (Will be MAC based)
