Sprint Wireless in Overland Park

Network Operations Technicians will be responsible for monitoring, correlating, troubleshooting and resolving network alarms and performance deviations for Sprint’s nationwide wireless network.  This network consists of multiple technologies such as CDMA, EVDO and LTE across multiple frequency bands and equipment vendors.

Contracted 6+ Months with permanent hire possible with outstanding work performance. Training will be provided upon being hired for all NOC related activities, no prior experience required (technical background is preferred).

Daily tasks:

–    Run testing procedures using various tools

–    Perform Check In/Check Out process

–    Perform daily fault and performance analysis using a variety of monitoring tools to discover network impairments

–    Ability to review network logs to discern state changes of network equipment

–    Creation and routing of network tickets to appropriate designated fix agents

–    Perform routine ticket management and escalations to drive problems to final resolution

–    Use combination of various tools to correlate multiple faults and/or system presented data into singular network impairments

–    Communicate openly and effectively with multiple teams

–    Manage fix bridges on large scale and/or high severity issues that involve multiple teams/participants including Executive level communication

Required:

–    Attention to detail is essential

–    Excellent in written and verbal communication skills

–    Proficient in using Microsoft office application such as Outlook, Excel, Word

–    Ability to work independently and in a team environment

–    Ability to work under pressure related to scale of business impact

–    Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally

–    Ability to span departments to assist in resolving network event outages

–    Experience analyzing wireless networks, related equipment and/or performance

–    Ability to multi-task, meet objectives and solve issues in stressful situations with high speed of completion and high degree of accuracy

–    Ability to quickly learn new tools and systems

–    Willingness to work on any assigned shift; multiple different types of shifts available

Advisors Excel – Print Team Intern for Summer

 Job Overview

This position will assist the print team with revision and edits to client print pieces. This individual will also learn the different requirements from the multiple print venders we use and how they need files created and saved to send to print.

Responsibilities

  • Update, revise and edit current client print pieces
  • Create new client pieces when tasked
  • Update and edit corporate print designs and prepare for printing
  • Assist other designers on projects with multiple pieces
  • Contribute creatively in meetings, to develop new designs and layouts
  • Research and stay current with design trends
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Skills and Experience Needed

  • High School diploma
  • Preferred active student studies graphic design at a college level
  • Strong eye for design, layout, font & color
  • Ability to use and learn Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Detail oriented approach when revising and editing pieces
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions

This position will assist the digital team with the editing and development of various web projects for Advisors Excel and its clients. This individual is responsible for maintaining client websites, as well as performing various duties associated with ongoing web projects and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain live client websites
  • Make revisions on new client websites that are in production
  • Update and edit corporate email designs to prepare for sending.
  • Collect statistics regarding website success and performance
  • Contribute creatively in meetings, to develop new concepts and approaches
  • Research and stay current with market trends in web development and design.
  • Propose new ideas to promote the company and its clients through web and digital media
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
