Medical Coding Internship students participated in a StrengthsFinder workshop with Kelsey Arnold from the Career Development Center on Monday, September 11, 2023. Students examined their “Top 5 Strengths” and learned how each strength coincides with a leadership theme. Students also learned how to present their strengths to prospective employers. This class excels in Strategic Thinking and Relationship Building!

Significant Student Accomplishments

The following MIRM students successfully passed the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credentialing exam:

  • Sarah Shippee – June 2023
  • Pinky Maliakkal – September 2023

This is a nationally recognized certification, awarded by the awarded by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
