Job Description:
The AGA Group is a healthcare recruiting and staffing firm located in Overland Park Kansas. We are working with a Kansas City area health care client who is looking to hire an Applications Support Analyst for their facility. This is a full time direct hire position. Our client offers a great salary, compensation package to include pension, 401k and excellent benefits.
As an Applications Support Analyst you will provide specialized technical knowledge and contribute to the achievement of multiple business objectives by identifying opportunities for effective use of technology and developing, implementing and supporting electronic health record systems while documenting and identifying best practices.
You will be responsible for developing and enhancing integrated health systems (people, processes, and technology) across medical departments. This involves working closely with management to identify, prioritize and plan the implementation of key strategic projects focused on driving the productivity and growth of the business. Help define and develop business rules and integrate processes; gather and document system requirements, and identify recommended solutions.
As an Applications Support Analyst you are responsible for the design of basic SQL scripts and user defined functions to accomplish tasks which are not possible using the standard set of EHR/EMR software development utilities and report writing tools. You will have working knowledge of SQL to enhance functionality include:
Qualifications:
- Querying and reporting capabilities beyond those available from a standard report writer.
- Executing “gap analysis” to determine differences between two versions of a template.
- Export and import of data into MS-ACCESS® databases for further analysis.
- Highly proficient working with SQL query.
- Working knowledge of basic programming concepts, SQL on the back-end, with Microsoft Visual Studio on the front-end.
